When Do I get my RT-PCR Test results?

  • 30 Minute RT-PCR results are available 30 minutes after the sample is taken

  • 3 Hour RT-PCR Testing is available 7 days a week from 9a-1:30p. 

  • Next Day Results:

    • Tests performed Monday - Friday typically result by 7pm the Next Day.  

    • We no longer offer Next Day testing on the weekends.  If you need a test Saturday or Sunday please choose the Same Day option. 

Do your tests meet the criteria for international travel?

  • Yes!  All of our RT-PCR tests meet all criteria for international travel.

Do You provide a QR code for your RT-PCR tests?

  • Yes! Our 30 minute RT-PCR and 3 Hour RT-PCR tests comes with a QR code on the result form.

What Do I do if the if I have not received my Results in the time promised?

  • Please contact us at (786) 747-7904 or email us at GoodHeartsTesting@gmail.com

  • The most common cause delayed results is an incorrect email address.  We email you your results as a PDF after your test has run.  If you did not receive an email and it is not in your junk/spam folder please contact us so we can re send you your results immediately. 

What is your Refund Policy?

  • If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason we are happy to issue you a full refund, no questions asked. 

  • If you need to cancel your appointment please email us at GoodHeartsTesting@gmail.com and notify us that you need to cancel your appointment and required a refund for your test.

  • If you need to change your appointment date please notify us and we are happy to reschedule you for another date or time.

  • You will only be charged for tests that were actually performed and there are no cancellation fees.

  • If you do not receive your results within 6 hours from the time your sample was taken or 48 hours from the time your sample was received from our laboratory partner for a next day test, we will issue you a full refund upon request.

Why are the Prices different for Insured versus Uninsured patients?

  • Covid-19 Testing is covered by health insurance under the CARES act.  This applies to any patient experiencing current symptoms of a Covid-19 infection or who has been recently exposed to Covid-19.  If the purpose of your test is clearance for travel the price of testing is the uninsured price of $145 for 3 Hr RT-PCR and $165 for a 30 minute RT-PCR.

  • We ask for a copy of your health insurance card to submit to our laboratory partner.  Our laboratory partner submits a claim to your insurance company and is reimbursed by your insurance company to cover the lab fee's associated with conducting a COVID-19 PCR test.  

  • Good Hearts Testing charges a separate service fee for conducting the testing.  This fee varies depending on whether you choose Drive-Up or At Home Testing

Do I have to pay a Copay when using my Insurance for Covid-19 Testing?

  • No!  The CARES act "Requires coverage (without cost-sharing or other cost-containment measures) of a test for the detection of SARS–CoV–2 or the diagnosis of the virus that causes COVID–19 "

  • If you receive a bill from your Insurance company for your Covid Test please contact them and inform them that you were tested for Covid-19 and that Federal law requires they pay for your test under the CARES act.  They are obligated to waive any fee that they may have attempted to charge you at that time.  

Which Insurance Plans are accepted?

  • All commercial Insurance Plans, Medicaid, and Medicare are accepted.
